Welcome to Nineveh
Something always happens in the deep.
Peter and Jesus walking on water wouldn’t seem so grand if the water was only a few inches deep. I mean, it was the thought of drowning that gripped Peter with fear.
What about Jonah in the belly of a big fish? He was not only deep in the ocean, but deep in some vomit as well.
It was deep in a cave that God hid David from his enemies. The Israelites wandered 40 deep (and I’m talking 40 years y’all) in the wilderness just seeking a promise.
That’s because all of Gods ways are DEEPER, higher, and wider than anything we could ever fathom. Even though, at times His ways may be painful and completely beyond our understanding. The truth is, all of it, both the pain and the beauty are working together for our good. And anything we do apart from God is just shallow ground.
My hope is that God will use a modern day Jonah like me and my little Nineveh of a blog to bring Him glory, and show His DEPTH in the shallow places in life.
I’m so excited for all the adventures that await on the other side of obedience, and how blessed I am to be able to share them all with you.
